Every action we take or change we make begins with us envisioning that change. In order to change, we must first visualize the change we want to bring into our world. Through our imagination, we are able to set the wheels in motion and connect with our deeper selves to begin the initiation to bring about change. The following are 3 types of visualizations:
1. Using your imagination to visualize something you desire. Whether it is a car, a house, gaining confidence, finding love, visualizing is much like giving yourself positive affirmations. By speaking your visualization into the universe, you can imagine what you want in your life and bring it to you.
2. Guided Visualizations are also known as guided meditations. This type of visualization typically focuses on meeting a spirit guide, or calming yourself down. Many different types of Guided Visualizations for almost anything you can imagine can be found on YouTube.
3. Creative or active visualizations help with confronting fears and solving problems you’re struggling with. By focusing and putting yourself in the most relaxed possible state, you can allow your unconscious to come to the surface and play out helpful and/or relevant scenarios. If you get stuck in this type of visualization, you can call upon your spirit guide or your power animal to help.
