American Kidney Fund

I lost a close friend to Kidney disease. He served in the military and was exposed to many chemicals during his services overseas. A decade later, just after we had first met, he was diagnosed with kidney failure. His wife donated one to him, and for a few years, things seemed to be improving. But before we knew it, his body began to reject her donation. He returned to dialysis, but his condition kept worsening. His wife was very open and interested in Holistic and Alternative Medicine, and she encouraged him to try and find something that could give him some peace, hope, or at least quality of life, but things changed seemingly overnight.
I got the call that he had died of a complication related to dialysis. He was still a young man, with half of his life ahead of him. Rather than accept any donations or contributions for my work, please consider donating to one of the leading charities to give others in a similar situation a second chance. This is an important charity and is close to my heart.
If you would like, please send me a message through our contact page after donating, and we will list your name as a donor below.
Thank you, –Aurora

American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals
https://www.aspca.org/
Ever since I was a child, every animal that came into my life has been a rescue of some sort. Whether it was a stray kitten on the street, the awkward dalmatian puppy we found hiding behind my family’s business, the ferrets we found hiding under cars, I was always rescuing animals and bringing them home. After volunteering hundreds of hours to rescues for animals of all sorts, I understand the struggle and financial costs that come along with being an organization that strives to keep animals safe and find them their forever homes.
The ASPCA is an organization that is near and dear to my heart. Both of my animals came from rescue organizations, and I can’t imagine my life with out them. Both were originally in high-kill shelters, but were saved by the people who volunteer their time (basically unpaid) to make sure these innocent animals don’t face a terrible fate.
If you choose to donate to the ASPCA, please send me a message so we can list your name as a donor on our site.
Blessings,
Holly
